Save the date(s)! This spring, System Staff Council is sponsoring in-person and virtual volunteer opportunities for you to help Colorado nonprofits and get to know your System colleagues: 

• We’ll be volunteering at Food Bank of the Rockies in two shifts – one on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 29, and one in the morning of Thursday, May 30 – working in their main warehouse and helping fill food orders. Space will be limited. 
• We’ll be offering a virtual volunteer opportunity with Children’s Hospital Colorado to create Cheer Cards for patients. Join us on Tuesday, June 4, at 2 p.m. for a virtual card writing party, or create cards on your own. There’s room for everyone to participate! 

With your supervisor’s approval, you can use administrative leave for volunteering. Registration will open in early April, and we’ll provide more details in the coming weeks.
