CU Boulder announces new Center for Leadership director
Stefanie Johnson has been named the new director of the University of Colorado Boulder’s Center for Leadership.
Johnson, an associate professor of organizational leadership and information analytics at CU Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, will assume the new role Aug. 21.
She is returning to CU Boulder this summer after a year of leading the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University. Johnson is also a prominent scholar with nearly $4 million in external funding, the author of a Wall Street Journal national bestseller, and advises corporations and organizations on diversity and inclusion, including the National Football League.
The Center was established in 2020 by Chancellor Philip DiStefano to support, connect and elevate leadership programs, resources and research to prepare tomorrow’s leaders.
