Recetas y recuerdos: Food, family and memories from CU Denver’s community

For Hispanic Heritage Month, we’ve been collecting family recipes from our students, faculty, and staff that reflect the diversity within our Latinx community with representation from Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, Cuba, Puerto Rico and more. The personal recuerdos (memories) illustrate how food helps us connect to family, our roots and, in some cases, how we cross cultural barriers and increase understanding.
