Korevaar shares delayed tribute to Beethoven

The timing was unfortunate for Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th birthday celebration. Commemorations of the fêted composer came in 2020 (scholars’ best guess at his birthday is 1770), just as the world was shutting down in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic—and opportunities to experience the great artist’s music and legacy in person disappeared.
