Born and raised in Pueblo County, Micah is a multigenerational Colorado native with deep roots in Southern Colorado. Before joining the University of Colorado team, Micah led program and project development for Action 22, a regional, non-partisan advocacy organization that represents 22 counties in southern Colorado. Before his work with Action 22, Espinoza led a consulting firm that assists nonprofits, small businesses and government organizations with strategy, recruiting, revenue growth and marketing.
Micah’s outreach region includes the southeast corner of Colorado, reaching up to Colorado Springs, and across the San Luis Valley.
Espinoza has three degrees from Colorado State University-Global, including a bachelor’s in healthcare administration and management, a master’s in management and a master’s in organizational leadership.
