Overview: eRA is the system that enables the university to apply for research grants and other funding, supports things like identifying funding opportunities, proposal development and tracking, the internal review of human subjects research protocols, clinical trials, environmental health and safety, and managing conflict of interest. The electronic Research Administration system (eRA) is designed to optimize research and discovery by providing the research community with superior technology and services. The eRA system provides integration across Business Offices, creating efficiencies and streamlining processes.

With eRA, users can:

  • Utilize one reference point for all research using a single log-in and one standardized user interface.
  • Collaborate and coordinate research activities between all researchers and administrators.
