In February, the CU Government Relations staff met with the Colorado Congressional delegation to express concern for provisions included in recently-proposed patent legislation, and help them understand how a strong, enforceable patent is essential to new companies created with CU technology.
On February 10, UCCS joined the Army Reserve, five other top-tier universities and 12 employers in an effort to create future cyber warriors. The Army Reserve Cyber Private Public Partnership (Cyber P3) brought together leaders of industry and academia with lawmakers on Capitol Hill to address a critical need for expertise in the cyber domain.
On February 25, Chris Koehler, Director of the Colorado Space Grant Consortium (COSGC) headquartered at CU-Boulder, visited Capitol Hill to meet with staff from Colorado’s Congressional delegation.
