CU Denver Chancellor Dorothy Horrell presented State Senator Lucia Guzman (D-Denver) with the 2016 CU Denver Alumni Legislative Award.

The award is presented to a legislator who has assisted in the advancement of CU Denver and higher education in general. The award was presented during the May graduation ceremony.
