As part of the formal review of all regent laws and policies, the administration, in collaboration with the faculty, undertook a thorough review of Article 5: Faculty and the related regent and administrative policies (except regent policy 5.J and 5.K relating to intellectual property).
Consolidation of conduct policies & Changes to Regent Law (Article) 2.B and Policies 13.G and 14.A – effective June 18, 2020
The Board of Regents approved interim changes to Policy 11.E.1 regarding vacation leave accruals for university staff and twelve-month faculty for fiscal year 2020-21, effective May 19, 2020.
A comprehensive review of university staff and faculty leave policies resulted in some revisions and reorganization of leave policies at the regent and administrative policy levels.
The Board of Regents policy changes effective February 13, 2020.
The Board of Regents approved the proposed changes to Regent Policy 13.A and Regent Articles 14 and 15 – effective June 13, 2019.
The Board of Regents approved changes to Regent Law (Article) 9.B: Regent Awards and Regent Policy 9.A: Regent Awards, effective April 5, 2019, to change the timeline of the Regent Awards process
Changes to Regent Articles 1, 5, 7, 9 and related policies approved; obsolete discrimination policies eliminated.
