We’ve seen another record year for submissions to the CU Shared Practices (CUSP) recognition program.
On April 25, the children of OUC staff members teamed up with other CU System kids to take part in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. The Grant Street offices have collaborated in this event for the past several years – and the national event just celebrated its 20th anniversary. The day began with a continental breakfast and a visit from the Financial Super Heroes. Subsequent events continued the theme of “Money Matters” and were designed to be both fun and educational for participants in all grade levels.

Published barely a week ago, the new Illustrated Guide to the Annual Financial Report has already garnered many positive reviews via the Guide's Feedback section. Among the comments received to date are these:

  • Such a great way to help people understand the financials!
Kudos to OUC staff members Heather Hoyer and Lisa Vallad, both of whom will achieve CPLP designation effective May 1. Developed by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), the CPLP certification denotes a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance. The designation is achieved after considerable study, passing of a comprehensive test, and submission of a real-world work product.
