President Saliman Announces Finalist for CU Denver Chancellor
Dear CU Denver Campus Community,
I am pleased to announce that I am advancing two distinguished finalists for the CU Denver Chancellor position, Dr. David H. Jackson, Jr. and Dr. Kenneth T. Christensen. Both bring impressive experience and vision, as reflected in their CVs, which are available for review on the CU Denver Chancellor Search website.
I invite the entire campus community to participate in the upcoming forums next week, where you’ll have the opportunity to engage with each finalist. These forums will be held in the Terrace Room at the Lawrence Street Center. We will also offer a Zoom option for virtual attendance. Please watch for further communications containing all details and links to the open forums. I look forward to an engaging and thoughtful process and to receiving your feedback on both of these highly qualified finalists.

I am deeply appreciative of the CU Denver community, and I extend my gratitude to Interim Chancellor Ann Schmiesing for her excellent leadership during this time of transition. I want to give a special thanks to the CU Denver Chancellor Search Committee, whose diligent efforts and collaboration with AGB Search yielded an impressive and diverse pool of candidates.
I encourage you to attend an open forum to meet the candidates. Following your attendance, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback through an anonymous and confidential survey administered by AGB Search. The survey will launch the week of November 18 and close at 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 25. I value your feedback during this important phase of the process.
Thank you for your time, engagement, and ongoing dedication. CU Denver has fostered innovation, research, and learning in the heart of Denver for over 50 years, and together, we have the opportunity to reach even greater heights. Go Lynx!
Todd Saliman
President
