Vetting
Submissions are initially reviewed by the CU I&E Program Manager, who will contact the submitter with any questions. The submission is then forwarded to the vetting committee (campus controllers, campus deputy controllers, and the University Controller).
Submissions that pass vetting are posted on the CU I&E website.
At the end of the program period, the vetting committee again reviews all posted submissions in order to identify a group of semifinalists.
Voting
Semifinalists will be notified by Monday, March 19, 2018, and will be asked to participate in three recognition activities as part of the awards determination process:
- a short video interview (conducted by Office of University Controller staff during March 20-30, 2018);
- a call-in question-and-answer period (on Monday, April 16, 2018); and,
- a demo table at the CU I&E Exposition and Awards Ceremony (conducted at 1800 Grant Street, Denver, on Tuesday, May 15, 2018).
Award recipients are decided by the larger voting body. This group is composed of the vetting committee, the Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff, the Director of the Office of Policy and Efficiency, and the Senior Associate Vice President and Chief Business Officer.
Exposition & Awards Ceremony
Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the annual CU Innovation & Efficiency Exposition & Awards Ceremony. The Expo will be held this year on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
