Karen Ichiba is the Business Policy/Process Specialist in the Office of University Controller at the University of Colorado.

Karen has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Geography and Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a Master’s in Public Administration in Policy Analysis and Evaluation degree from the University of Colorado Denver.

Karen has been with the University since 2017. Her experience includes serving as the Executive Director of the Mountain and Plans Intergovernmental Audit Forum, and as an Evaluator with the United States Governmental Accounting Office. Karen has also worked with numerous non-profit organizations doing volunteer fundraising.
