Kristina Mendez is the Learning Design Program Director at the University of Colorado, Office of University Controller.

Kristina is responsible for leading the OUC’s learning and development program. In this role, she collaborates with campus controllers, finance executives, and financial service centers in initiatives on training, communications, and related change leadership in the areas of finance, accounting, financial reporting (systems, policies, and forms), and fiscal roles and responsibilities.

Kristina has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting (minor in Marketing) from Hofstra University and has worked in the private sector in both accounting and the hospitality industry. She joined the Office of University Controller in 2016 after several years as an area accountant at the Anschutz Medical Campus.
