Hello all! I hope this is the start of a great week for each of you. The Buffs won and the annual external audit is going great. Who could ask for more?
As the external audit is our main focus at the moment, here is a brief update. Most of the testwork is complete (this is very good news.) The auditors have a good draft of our annual financial report prepared by Accounting Services in the OUC and will begin their review shortly. Great work everyone! The deadline for finalizing the annual financial report is November 15th, so we are looking good, but keep your fingers crossed.
A big thank you to everyone at the campuses who have worked so hard to ensure a successful audit. I especially want to thank each of the campus controllers and their staffs, Office of Contracts and Grants (UCD), Office of Grants and Contracts (OGC), Sponsored Project Accounting, and UCD Student Financial Aid.
I’ll provide another update as we get closer to the big day. Thanks again for everything. We are almost there!
