On February 18, we implement the annual PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) update for the Finance System.

What does this mean for you?

You'll be seeing some enhancements to the FIN User Interface (UI) on search and add pages, including:

  • Recent Pages and Favorites are now on the top bar of all pages instead of just on the left side of home pages. (They are also still on the NavBar.)
  • On search pages, Add a New Value and Find an Existing Value are no longer tabs near each other. Now they appear on opposite sides of the page.
  • Grid lists showing search results no longer have individual links for each field in the columns. Now you can click anywhere on the line (including in the spaces between the fields) to select a specific row to display.

If you've saved any searches in FIN, you'll need to recreate them in the new environment.

  • We have instructions on how to create Saved Searches for journals on our Finance learning page.
  • Note that the saved search function is available for other search pages in addition to the journal entry search.
