The purpose of the Presenter Certification Program: Visual Design and Resources course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to improve their professional presentations through the effective use of slides, handouts, posters, and other resources.

Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- identify guidelines for visual design in slides and other presentation resources;
- evaluate the ongoing (post-presentation) value of developing resources such as handouts;
- Identify where to find copyright-free resources; and,
- discuss the special challenges of designing content and visuals for poster sessions.
