CPE in February: Queries, Feedback, and GASB
February is short as months go ... but long on professional development! The Office of University Controller is providing four days of CPE (continuing professional education) across CU this month.
And now all February CPE courses are open for registration.
We’re offering three days on the campuses this month. Each of these days focuses on Creating Queries in FIN 9.2. At your request: these are small-group classes conducted in computer labs so you can learn by doing. Space is limited but we will manage a waitlist in case of high interest.
The Creating Queries schedule for each day is 10:00 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. (including an hour for lunch, on your own). The locations are listed below - please be sure to sign up for the appropriate campus location:
Wednesday, February 8 - Colorado Springs Campus
Thursday, February 16 - Boulder Campus
Tuesday, February 21 - Anschutz Medical Campus
We’re also presenting two courses in Denver this month:
- Delivering Helpful Feedback – The Rules from the Psychology Lab offers timely and practical insights into providing constructive feedback. We think a lot about this topic during the month of February thanks to annual performance evaluations, but constructive feedback is important throughout the year.
- GASB Review brings you up-to-date to GASB pronouncements with concrete examples, discussions of impacts, and identification of resources available to help you.
Both courses are scheduled for:
Tuesday, February 14 - 1800 Grant Street (the System office)
For detailed course and instructor information and to register, see the Office of University Controller website.
Remember: CPE courses are available at no cost to CU employees and at modest cost to non-employees.
