If all goes as planned CU will be running Cognos 11.0.11 in production the week of June 17, 2018. However, this version is currently available for you to test in CU-Data QA.

We announced a couple weeks ago that CU-Data QA was running in Cognos 11.0.10. Now that 11.0.11 is out, we decided to move forward with this latest version of the software instead. This is an incremental “dot version” upgrade from Cognos 11.0.6, the version in production. You will notice some differences between the two versions but they are very minimal. We expect that you will be able to continue using m-Fin reports the same way as you do now. Any content saved in your Cognos “My Content” will remain in place and continue to work.

When you are out there testing reports, we would like you to test these five reports in particular. The way these reports were querying the data needed some technical adjustments with this upgrade. We have made those changes and do not see that there are any differences in data reported. All the five reports should look and behave the same way they currently do in production.
