Project Description

The Provisioning and Authorization Project built an automated process for all campuses leveraging integrations and process flows across InfoEd, OnBase and PeopleSoft to eliminate significant manual efforts and improved efficiency creating and managing profiles in InfoEd.
Resulting in a streamlined interface and easier to use experience for users and a much faster turnaround for Students, Faculty and Affiliates access into InfoEd, including minimizing the time from POI request submission to profile creation.

Project Efficiency 

From a user perspective it took days/weeks for request to access InfoEd to Support Research and Grants to be completed, this new process will provide access within 24 hours and in most cases will occur in minutes. For Campus HCM teams this will eliminate manual efforts for these POI requests. This Automated process is also insuring consistency across campuses.

Project Inspiration 

This manual effort for campus ERA and HCM teams has been a significant pain Point for several years. There have been several efforts to address this issue, but past approaches did not result in a workable solution.

What Makes You Happiest about this Project?

We have finally resolved a significant pain points for Campus partners related to the length of time it took to get Students, Faculty and Affiliates access to InfoEd and removing several manual efforts.
This new solution is an easy intuitive OnBase Form for the requester. This easy form has significant workflows and logic leveraging several complex integrations to accomplish the needed outcomes in pulling and/or loading data into PeopleSoft and InfoEd.
