Awards

Accepted best practice submissions in place as of April 30, 2014 will form the pool for prize consideration.  Awards for the 2014 CUSP program consist of five cash prizes, all subject to applicable taxes and withholding. The prizes are as follows:

University Controller’s Award for Excellence – The Associate Vice President/University Controller will review the posted “Best Practices,” and, in conjunction with the voting body, shall choose a winner based on factors such as creativity, ingenuity, cost or efficiency savings, revenue generation, etc. The winner of this prize will receive a $1,500 cash award (subject to taxes and withholding).
Four cash prizes of $1,000 each (subject to taxes and withholding) are available to be awarded to other ideas demonstrating the standards for innovation and excellence outlined above.
Acceptance/publishing of a submission on the CUSP website does not guarantee awarding of a cash prize. All submissions will be judged on their relative merit, and prizes shall be awarded accordingly. Not all available prizes may be awarded during any program period.
Group members will be responsible for the distribution of any cash prize their group may be awarded.
