CU Denver Chancellor Horrell Co-hosts 2016 Colorado Capital Conference
CU Denver Chancellor Dorothy Horrell, U.S. Senators Cory Gardner and Michael Bennet, and Colorado Mesa University President Tim Foster hosted the 2016 Colorado Capital Conference in Washington, DC. Colorado residents from across the state participated in the successful annual event, including CU Regents Steve Bosley and Sue Sharkey.
Speakers at the conference included Charlie Cook, Cook Political Report; Chuck Todd, NBC News; U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL); Denis McDonough, White House Chief of Staff; U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC); and U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
While in Washington, Chancellor Horrell met with several members of the Colorado congressional delegation. During the meetings, the Chancellor provided updates about the Denver campus.
