Part A: Tuition and Fees

12.A.1 Student Tuition and Fees

(A)  All University of Colorado student tuition rates for regularly enrolled students and fees, whether reviewed and approved by the regents in the previous budget or which have been expressly identified for inclusion or deletion by the regents, shall be approved by the Board of Regents and shall be announced in university bulletins and elsewhere.
(B)  The Board of Regents reserves the right to change tuition without prior notice, but will provide 30 days notice for an implementation of student fees.

12.A.2 Other Fees

(A)  The chancellor of each campus is authorized to establish fees charged to persons other than regularly enrolled students; however, the Board of Regents reserves the right to also establish such fees.
(B)  The Board of Regents reserves the right to change these non-student fees without notice.

Part B: Scholarships and Loans

12.B.1 Student Scholarships and Loans

(A)  The Board of Regents shall approve university policy for the granting of university scholarships and loans to students.
(B)  All scholarships and loans shall be administered by the president, the respective chancellors, or their designees, and shall be awarded in a manner to be determined by the president, the chancellors, or their designees, consistent with applicable state and federal law, university policies, and the terms and conditions, if any, imposed by the donor of a scholarship or loan.
