Senator Randy Baumgardner (R-Cowdrey) and Representatives J. Paul Brown (R-Ignacio), Bob Rankin (R-Carbondale), Dan Thurlow (R-Grand Junction), Gordon Klingenschmitt (R-Colorado Springs), and Yeulin Willett (R-Grand Junction) attended CU-Boulder’s Aerospace Summit.
On April 29, Kathleen Tierney, Ph.D., Director of the Natural Hazards Center and Professor of Sociology in the CU-Boulder Institute of Behavioral Science, and Nnenia Campbell, Research Assistant at the Natural Hazards Center visited Washington, D.C. to participate in the 21st Annual Coalition for National Science Funding (CNSF) Reception and Exhibition.
On March 24-25, CU-Boulder Chancellor Phil DiStefano met with members of the Colorado congressional delegation in Washington, DC to discuss campus student success and affordability initiatives, as well as university federal priorities.
On February 25, Chris Koehler, Director of the Colorado Space Grant Consortium (COSGC) headquartered at CU-Boulder, visited Capitol Hill to meet with staff from Colorado’s Congressional delegation.
