This new report assists in tracking down a project sponsor payment that might have been booked on the wrong FOPPS. Identify the specific payment amount you’re looking for … or identify the specific sponsor and look at all projects for that sponsor. Either way, you’ll get a simple list report that can help you figure out what happened.
The Cognos Reporting System is a fast-moving financial reporting tool. How do you keep up with OUC staff members Carl Sorenson and Sarju Khadka ... and their continuous Cognos improvements (enhancements to existing reports and development of new reports)?
An excellent response – in registrations and evaluations – to our Continuing Professional Education (CPE) offerings this quarter. We presented 4 new courses, and 2 popular repeats, at the Grant Street building in February.
A hearty “welcome!” to the 10 participants who were completely new to the CPE Program. And a “thank you!” to all attendees, who gave us a 97% strongly/agree for effectiveness of instructors, relevance of topics, and delivery of learning objectives.
We’ll open registration for April CPE classes soon.

This report is getting great reviews from faculty and staff who love its project-only focus and comprehensive scope. It’s similar to the popular m-Fin OPERATING SUMMARY but was designed (and runs) exclusively for projects.
The OUC is very pleased to introduce Bob Loosley as our new Director of Tax. Bob's first day at CU is Mon, Feb 24. He is a licensed CPA with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master’s degree in taxation and he has spent over a decade as the Tax & Accounts Payable Manager for Colorado State University.
