Starting December 6th, Amazon Business will be available for purchasing through CU Marketplace. Shopping on Amazon Business through CU Marketplace is as user-friendly as Amazon.com and includes features tailored for the University. Simplify your purchasing process, take advantage of Amazon’s wide product selection and enjoy fast shipping.

Must-Know Points: Action Required
- Existing Amazon Accounts - All Amazon accounts currently using a university domain will be required to update their account based on how you have used your CU email with Amazon previously. You will receive an email with directions on how to complete this step at go-live.

What products can I buy through the Amazon catalog in CU Marketplace?
Amazon Business provides access to a curated selection of items available on Amazon.com and through the CU Marketplace Amazon Punchout. Please note that some items may be restricted or blocked. If you cannot find the item you need in Amazon Business, it may be available through one of our other contracts or punchout catalogs. After exploring these options, if you still cannot locate the item, please reach out to the PSC at psc@cu.edu for further assistance. Additionally, feel free to provide feedback if an item you need isn’t available.
What does it mean that an item is restricted or blocked?
- "Restricted items" are items that are searchable and available for purchase, but users will be notified with a pop up message that a CU contract or catalog may offer the item and should be considered before completing the purchase.
- "Blocked items" are items that cannot be searched or purchased through the CU Amazon Business account due to a mandatory CU contract.
Can I still shop on Amazon.com?
Yes, you can still shop on Amazon.com. You will need to set up your business account, and a Procurement Card will be required for purchases.
