Fall 2024 CU Marketplace Redesign - Updates and Training Schedule
Starting on September 9th, when you log into Marketplace, you will see a prompt regarding the Fall 2024 CU Marketplace Redesign. You will be asked to confirm you received the message. This step ensures that CU Marketplace users are well-informed about the upcoming changes.
We’ve scheduled several training opportunities, including webinars and on-campus labs, to help you familiarize yourself with the new features. The webinars on October 8th and October 14th will cover the same content, so you only need to attend one. The on-campus labs will offer hands-on experience, allowing you to navigate the new processes in a test environment and ask questions directly to PSC experts. Don’t miss these valuable sessions!

Auto Close PO Process, Soft Close: Enhancing Efficiency
CU is enhancing efficiency and aligning with procurement best practices by implementing an Auto-Close PO Process. Once fully matched, eligible Purchase Orders (POs) will enter a soft close state for 7 days, during which time further actions on the PO will be restricted. Following the 7-day period, the PO will be closed in PeopleSoft Finance. Note that all invoices on the PO must be in paid status for the PO to fully close. This will not apply to SPOs/Blanket Purchase Orders, including Construction and Sponsored Projects Subawards/Subcontracts. This automated process will ensure that all transactions are fully processed and will reduce the need to reopen POs.
