The IRS has released the standard mileage rate for business travel in 2024. The State of Colorado allows mileage reimbursement at 90% of the prevailing IRS rate for actual necessary travel while on official business.
Effective September 1, 2023, all rental car reservations for official university business travel must be made in Concur. This includes any reservations for non-employee guest travelers. The discount codes affording travelers the university agreement pricing will automatically be applied to reservations made in Concur or with Christopherson Business Travel (CBT) directly.
Effective April 1, 2023, it will no longer be possible to submit Travel Reconciliation expense reports that were created before September 26, 2022. The Travel Reconciliation expense report header was updated last September so it is now necessary to phase out the submission of reports created prior to when the update went live in Concur. You will need to submit these older Travel Reconciliation reports before April 1st to avoid having to copy the expenses over to a new report for further processing.
