He provides subject matter expertise, delivers training and support and assists the more than 120 clients with determining the best solutions for their needs. Phillip gathers and translates functional business requirements into design criteria for system configuration, business processes, workflow design, as well as develops functional design specifications and documentation. He also analyzes and troubleshoots problems with the systems to minimize delays in the university’s critical document management process flows |

His areas of responsibility include Storage Area Networks (SAN), our data networks, servers, data backup, managing Microsoft Exchange, Voice over IP management (VoIP), data center management and automation. Desmond’s expertise in these areas will help ECS continue to provide a high-level of service and improve on UIS’s ability to deliver services more effectively and efficiently. He strategically prepares UIS’s infrastructure systems and team to move into the next phase of a hybrid Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model. |

Aaron will work closely with UIS Integrations and Data Warehouse developers to design and implement integrations that leverage existing integration infrastructure to support new functional requests. He will also be responsible for enacting and enforcing integration strategy as defined by the UIS Integrations and Data Warehouse teams. |
