Initial Setup

Please follow the below steps to configure your iOS device (iPhone or iPad) with your System Administration email address for the first time.

Step 1

Tap Settings.

Step 2

Tap Mail, Contacts and Calendars.

Step 3

Tap Add Account, then tap Exchange..

Step 4


You will need to enter all of your account information on this screen.

  • In the Email field, enter your e-mail address.
  • In the Password field, enter your AD password.
  • The Description field will automatically populate with your e-mail address. You may edit this description to your liking.

Tap Next.

Step 5

You will need to enter all of your account information on this screen.

  • In the Server field, enter exchange.cu.edu
  • In the Domain field, enter AD
  • In the Username field, enter your CU login name

Tap Next. The Apple device will verify your settings. To continue to the last step, tap Save.

Step 6

Select the services you wish to sync with the Exchange server, then tap Save.

Step 7

Your Exchange account has been configured and is now ready to use.

AD Coalescence Project - Updating Exchange Settings

Please follow the below steps if you are updating your Exchange account as part of the AD Coalescence Project.

Step 1

Tap Settings.

Step 2

Tap Mail, Contacts and Calendars.

Step 3

Locate your System Administration Exchange account and tap to select it.

Step 4

Locate the Account section (which lists your email address) and tap to select it.

Step 5

  • In the Server field, enter exchange.cu.edu
  • In the Domain field, enter AD
  • Re-enter your Username and Password if needed.

Tap Done.

Step 6

A series of check marks will appear to indicate that your account settings have been updated.
