Nonresident students have a filing requirement even if they didn't have a job. The International Tax Office cannot directly help you file or provide tax advice, but we do have a collection of resources that can help you file your tax forms.

To assist with U.S. tax forms, nonresident alien students and employees who are sponsored by CU have the option to use Sprintax Returns software.
All eligible international students and scholars will receive an access code to Sprintax Returns through their CU-affiliated email. If you have not received an access code by March 7, 2025, email intltax@cu.edu.
What's the difference between Sprintax Calculus and Sprintax Returns?
Each serve a different purpose within tax compliance. Learn more about the differences between each tax software.
