Health Savings Account (HSA) enrollees can expect to receive a new card in the mail in the first week of August.

Optum will send emails detailing the upcoming changes and activation period throughout the first week of August, starting with the activation period opening on Aug. 2.

Cards must be activated by Sept. 26, as all old cards will expire on that date. Prior to this, cards expired three years after activation. New cards will now expire five years after activation.
