The Skillsoft upgrade to Percipio is now live. Faculty, staff and students will see significant improvements in user experience, content, learning tools and more.

The University of Colorado uses Skillsoft to manage its mandatory and custom training courses as well as providing access to a course library, ebooks, audiobooks and professional certification courses. The upgrade delivers changes to the platform’s visual interface, navigation and overall usability.

What the new platform offers

Skillsoft Percipio will still host CU’s custom-built courses, but it will include a greatly expanded, updated library of standardized courses, certificate prep courses, ebooks and audiobooks.

The platform features powerful new learning tools to help users organize and focus their learning goals.

• Skill Interests: Select topics of interest and receive customized course recommendations.
• Skills Benchmarks: Discover your strengths and identify skill gaps to help focus your efforts.
• Aspire Journeys: Get a detailed blueprint that offers structured, clear pathways to advance your career development.
• Certifications: Use prep courses to study for and practice taking certification exams for 21 different organizations. 
• AI Simulations: Practice specific scenarios and challenging conversations with AI simulations for a variety of circumstances, including managing employees for the first time, coaching a team and more.

Users will also be able to create playlists of content they’re interested in and access their accounts and training resources via a mobile app to learn on the go.

Access Skillsoft Percipio

Faculty, staff and student employees

1. Log in to the employee portal.
2. Click on the CU Resources dropdown menu in the top left corner and select Training.
3. Select the Skillsoft Percipio tile.

CU Anschutz, CU Denver and UCCS students

1. Log on to your student portal.
2. Click the magnifying glass (Global Search) on the top-right navigation bar.
3. Type Skillsoft in the search box and press Enter.
4. Select Start Skillsoft.  

CU Boulder students

1. Log on to your Buff portal.
2. Click the Search Buff Portal bar on the top-left.
3. Type Skillsoft in the search box and press Enter.
4. Select Skillsoft Training.
5. Select Start Skillsoft.
