Get smarter with AI: Popular LinkedIn Learning courses and Percipio tools
Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are varied and offer many different uses. Employees may be familiar with the widely publicized generative AI tools, such as Chat GPT, which can be used to summarize large quantities of text, translate copy to a different language, answer simple user questions and more.
AI tools can offer greater efficiency and even enhance employee training, but the first thing any University of Colorado employee should know before trying any AI tool is how to select and use such tools safely.
Know the rules for using AI tools at CU
Each CU campus has released AI guidelines:
It’s most important that you understand and carefully follow the university’s information security and data classification policies.
Remember that using any AI tool means you’re inputting information into a third-party platform. Exercise the utmost discretion when interacting with these tools.
